The rifle in
Division 2 Boosting really sounds like an M4. The one in Division two seems like a generic movie stand-in. The exact same can be said for frags, although the reverse is true for its shotguns. Or an actual? I believe the winter setting of the very first game is a lot easier for your backstory of the game, not to mention finding suspended corpses gave it a more eerie setting. Division 2's summertime setting appears great for what it is, but it looks like Crysis.
Sound is much better is
The Division 2 Boosting. The grenade explosion has a ring to it, the firearms almost have a fade efffect that accounts for much more detail and range of bullet travel not to mention that the music so far has ben considerably more intriguing in the beta once it works;)I think snow looked better as its simpler to pay everything with one asset that is white and make it look fine. I think The Division 2 looks better but just by a small margin as there is more assets that are placed so it kinda does need to look cluttered and trashed. The ecological effects are more varied as well.
Personally, I prefer the appearance and setting of The Division 1. The town, the sow, the ambient winter winds simply amazing. The Division 2 only look like a upgraded sports roster with a new arena to play in, same controllers interface ect. Maybe it will prove better to some, but I just don't see it. The real barrier is can't get over is that the still existing bad AI, and shot gun to the head of a standard HUMAN doesn't equal dead. I am sorry but rpg/mmo light simply doesn't operate in a semi or modern modern setting. If you needed a tanky boss... Make the"boss" a actual mini tank or a small walker not a armoured guy/girl, actually??
