NBA 2K19 is the first game in the series that was not released on the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3. NBA 2K19 is also the first game in the series in which there is a CBA Mandarin Chinese option for the commentary in career mode NBA 2K22 MT. The game faced a lot of criticism despite the fact that it brought many new features to the game in comparison to its predecessor.
As would be the case with the sequel, its microtransactions left a bad taste on the lips of many gamers who bought the game, resulting in an outpouring of disapproval from players. Kobe Bryant was the cover character for the game's eleventh installment, which was the first of many to release for the PSP. NBA 2K10 introduced the highly loved MyPlayer as well as Association modes that would later be included in many of the franchise's future installments.
Although the game did fairly well with critics, a lot of gamers were disappointed by the online features of the game as well as the multitude of technical and bug-related issues that could result in extremely slow frame rates. Some also complained about the game's A.I. with players and opponents sometimes acting out in a strange manner which led to some funny moments.
NBA 2K18 is the last game in the series that was released for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It's also the very first game of the series to feature the Neighbourhoods mode which allows for open-world gaming design and lets fans get to know star players. Both players and critics were negative about the game's gameplay. But, microtransactions and the ineffective Neighbourhoods mode were both praised. In the end Buy NBA 2K MT, Visual Concepts would at least make improvements to the latter in subsequent installments.
