Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor meets former interim lightweight champion
and top ranked lightweight contender Dustin Poirier for the third time in the UFC 264 main
event on July 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

McGregor finished Poirier in the opening round of their first fight back in September 2014.
“The Diamond” avenged that loss by finishing McGregor in the second
round of their UFC 257 rematch in January.



Poirier destroyed McGregor with fierce leg kicks and punches to win
their rematch and set up a hugely intriguing third bout.
The fight will be the headline bout to UFC 264 but there had been some confusion over
it following a stunning expletive-laden rant on social media from McGregor to his rival.

But UFC chief Dana White has since confirmed it will go ahead and here’s everything you

The main event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 10 and will take place at the
T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC 264 Live Free
Start times have not been confirmed yet but UK fans can expect the headline fight to get
under way at around 6am on Sunday morning.
“This summer, Las Vegas is back open for business, and on July 10, UFC 264 will be
at the T-Mobile Arena at 100-per-cent capacity. Ladies and gentleman, that’s 20,000 fans.
“And this card will be headlined by the third fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.”
Prior to White’s announcement, the fight had been plunged into doubt following a rant from McGregor.
