I've definitely heard the exact same. I could just be keeping this as a private variant. I'm however enthusiastic about creating more non-licensed/existing IP playing card decks and products moving forwards!
If you are not going to offer them illegally, then why do not take them a message anyway? You're definitely allowed to make them for your personal usage under fanart.
Yeah, I had a tough time moving back and forth between who to use as the joker but I ultimately decided to do one of those jokers with Gulliver/Gullivarrr and the other with Reese & Cyrus, since really, who spends a whole month performing wedding shoots?
I've undoubtedly heard that Nintendo is quite hard to get ahold of appropriate IP licenses so this will be considered just a personal project for now! ;-LRB- I'm definitely inspired to create more goods for sale which don't require licensing moving forwards though!
If you wished to spread the love to additional playing card collectors which use MPC you could link into the art files and we could make our own. No copyright issues there!
