EA was completely in charge of OVR progression

That is minor advancement at a cost that is inexpensive, unlike EA charging top dollar for roster changes. 2K games had the better Mut 20 coins game, it was economical they added the crib and first person style, and it had a much better interface and played better. I want to see what 2K matches does with this. I look forward to the new competition.People really must quit purchasing EA sports games or any game with greedy bullshit really. I fully quit playing Madden years for soccer. Buying Madden 20 NFL is encouraging EA's greedy bullshit and purchasing microtransactions are worse than that. Really hope these new football games are very successful, people have desired something new for ages. Perhaps a new soccer game will turn out to be very popular on the PS5.

I had been discussing the XFL with some different redditors in a different subreddit, and also the topic of video games came. When the original XFL came out, EA did not have a lock on NFL video games, so no writer watched any reason to secure a XFL license. The XFL provides the NFL leverage to negotiate a much better bargain with EA. If each other publication will offer a football option under a less costly XFL permit, and if they can make it good enough, then the NFL is much better off being able to market to other publishers and developers as well to keep the XFL out of taking a bite out of their football-shaped pie.

This is a very long post, so I've bolded the most crucial parts as a sort of TLDR. That is far we have gotten in almost any other calendar year, and it is really appreciated by me. That being said, basically all and I disagree. Because we've run out of OVR/stat updates, we're going the management of power updates - we had to do something in regards to progress

To begin with, let's pretend we concur with the assumption that we're out of room for stat progression: fine, but EA was completely in charge of OVR progression - if they had done a better job with it, we would not be in a place where we needed to find an alternate path. And even if they didn't do a fantastic job they could have found a better alternate path. It's not like this scenario was hard to see coming, or just like it didn't happen last year, or even the year before. This is another example of EA's magnificent inability to buy madden coins to have a coherent strategy for a season.
