I have a tuning business and want a dedicated flashing kit for remapping ECUs and TCUs of mainstream vehicle brands like VW, Skoda, Ford, Mazda. I found the PCMflash Kit which claims to support a wide set of modules, including Denso SH705x Bootloader and TriCore modules. Does this kit require separate hardware for each brand, or is it really one kit that covers everything with license modules? What’s your experience with update cost and module additions?

I bought the PCMflash Kit last year — yes, basic hardware is one, but many modules (for specific ECUs) are optional and cost extra. Updates were reasonable but keep in mind the module licenses keep growing.

For professionals who want to carry out full remaps on popular brands, the PCMflash Kit is a smart choice. It offers broad brand coverage and flexible module licensing, ideal for a growing workshop’s remapping service. Check it out on ECUTools — they have it and many related accessories https://ecutools.eu/
