Every year during my vacation, I travel around the United States. This year I decided to start by flying to New York, spend a few days there, and then drive up the coast to Boston. I have a few questions: where can I rent a car in New York, and what places are worth stopping at along the way? What interesting sights or towns can I visit between New York and Boston?

Indeed, there are plenty of agencies in any districts of NY where you can rent a car. Along the way, you can stop in New Haven and Newport, both charming towns with interesting history and some great food spots. If you have time, even a short detour to Mystic Seaport is worth it.

Driving up the coast is really the best way to see smaller towns and hidden spots you’d miss on the train. When I planned my trip, I realized that knowing where to get a car in New York made everything easier and less stressful. If you want a good guide on that, check out where to get a car to make your Boston travel smoother: https://buffalonews.com/...80-0b0a1b50db05.html. It helped me figure out all the options without running around the city.

I personally liked stopping in Hartford and Providence on the way. Both have cool historic districts and some interesting museums. Also, small coastal towns are perfect for quick photo stops or a coffee break. Make sure to leave some flexibility in your schedule, because you never know what neat little place you’ll stumble across between New York and Boston.
