I want to visit Malaysia. My maternal ancestors were from there, and I want to travel to my historical homeland. As far as I know, the traffic there is very heavy, while the streets themselves are quite narrow. So I want to rent some kind of two-wheeled vehicle rather than a car to get around the country. Which rental places in Kuala Lumpur offer motorbikes?

Indeed, in Malaysia, as in many Southeast Asian countries, many people prefer to get around using more mobile transport such as motorcycles, bikes, scooters, and so on. Upon arrival, you can ask anyone where to rent a motorbike, and they will point you in the right direction.

Not everyone there speaks English well. They might not understand you and could send you to rent some half-broken scooters. If you want to rent a motorbike cheaply, you can go through the owners directly. Private individuals also offer such vehicles for rent. Check out the portal where you can rent a motorbike from private owners in Kuala Lumpur: https://getrentacar.com/...alaysia-kuala-lumpur . You can arrange in advance where to have the bike delivered and discuss the rental terms.

There are plenty of motorcycle shops where you can either buy or rent a bike. For example, check out the options at Kok Motor. I once rented a motorbike there, and it was in really good condition.
