1. First of all, the user is required to use
the original .TLG file with .QBW.adr file

Make a new folder on desktop with name QB test.

Open the folder where the company file is
located.

Copy corresponding .tlg file and then paste it
to the QuickBooks test folder on the desktop.
2. Show file extensions

Press Windows + E keys to open the file
explorer.

Select Organize > Folder > Search options
respectively.

Windows 10, 8, 7 and XP users are supposed to
view and select the Filename extension.

Choose Hide Extensions for the known file types.

Select apply and hit ok.

Open the QuickBooks

Copy .adr file and then paste to QB test folder.

Visit the QB test folder and right click the
QBW.adr file and hit rename option.

After that delete the .adr from the end of the
file name.

Open QuickBooks software again and then open the
company file in the QBTest folder.

Run verify utility and ensure the integrity of
the company
file.

Move the damaged company file to some other
location.

And lastly, transfer the copy from QBTest to the
original location.
