If when you’re searching for a wedding band and assumed you could find nothing other than the traditional silver, gold and platinum, well, you’d be wrong.
This is a good test to start with, however be aware that many of the metals used in these fakes (i.e. lead, copper, tungsten) will not be attracted to magnets either. The most important feature of tungsten carbide wedding bands is the permanent polished look of the rings.
One of the important factors in choosing your tungsten wedding band is coordinating with the bride’s “finger furniture.” Entirely matching sets are not as common as they once were, but it is still nice to consider coordinating pieces so that when you hold hands, be it for fun or for the wedding photo, the rings look good together.
