hypothalamus and ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH), the brain's feeding
and satiety centers, respectively.The VMH is sometimes injured by
ongoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) or surgery or
radiation to treat posterior cranial fossa tumors.
