Stanford?defensive lineman Harrison Phillips has been fully
cleared to play and is expected to start Saturday at UCLA.?Hes good to
go, Cardinal coach David Shaw said Thursday. There are no limitations on
him.?Phillips, a junior nose tackle, injured his knee in Stanfords
season-opening 26-13 win over Kansas State. The Cardinal initially
feared the injury was more serious, so he only missed last weeks 27-10
victory over USC. There even seemed to be a chance Phillips would play
against the Trojans late in the week, but Shaw ruled him out
Fridday.ddddddddddddNow, after a productive week of practice, Phillips
will be back full-go to anchor No. 7 Stanfords defensive line.He hasnt
been gone long enough to get out of shape, and hes been doing great work
with the training staff, Shaw said. Im excited about where hes at.The
Cardinal are healthy at all other positions entering Saturday. Running
back Bryce Love returned to action without incident last week.
