The 2019 Rugby World Cup will be the ninth Rugby World Cup and will be held in Japan from September 20th to November 2nd. This will be the first time the game is held in Asia and outside the traditional center of the Rugby Union. Hong Kong and Singapore have expressed interest in organizing some competitions and were included in the JRFU's successful application for World Rugby (when bidding for the International Rugby Board or IRB), but not in the fourteenth organizer Japan Rugby World Cup 2019 Live Stream announced on November 5, 2019.
