Steps to repair issue:-
• Ensure we now have opened company file in newest type of QuickBooks on which file was opened last time.
Head to File > Open or Restore company > Open company file > Browse for file and open it.
• You will need to restart computer which contains company file, if file being used on stand along/server computer then restart computer and try to get into data file.
• If file can be used over network via server then the Re-Scan data base server manager. You must head to main computer from where file has been hosted.
Head to Start > All Programs > QuickBooks > QuickBooks Database Server Manager > Add folder which contains company file and then click on start scan.
Watch for confirmation “QuickBooks company file found”.
Now try opening company file again.
