The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Divisional Round game against the New Orleans Saints. Note that this injury report is an estimation because the Eagles only held a walk-through.Only TWO players did not practice: Carson Wentz and Michael Bennett. No surprises there.On Monday, Doug Pederson confirmed Nick Foles will start against the Saints. He also confirmed Nate Sudfeld will be the backup as Wentz continues to heal from his back fracture. No reason to be alarmed with Bennett missing practice. The Eagles continue to take it easy on him during the week in order to have him ready for game day. SIX players were listed as limited: Sidney Jones, Alshon Jeffery, Golden Tate, Jason Peters, Mike Wallace Youth Wes Hopkins Jerseys , and D.J. Alexander.Jones hasn’t played since Week 14. It looks like he has a shot to return this week. If Jones does suit up, it’ll be interesting to see how he’s used. The cornerback trio of Rasul Douglas, Avonte Maddox, and Cre’Von LeBlanc have been playing relatively well down the stretch. Will Jones be inserted into the starting lineup or have a backup/rotational role? Jeffery and Tate are new additions to the injury report. They seemed to be fine heading out of the Bears game so this could be precautionary. Peters being limited is also likely another precaution considering he played 100% of the snaps in Chicago. Wallace might have a shot to actually return to the field this week. Pederson had the following to say about him on Wednesday:Wallace has been limited in practice the last two weeks. If he gets upgraded to full go on Thursday or Friday, that should indicate he’s going to play. We’ll see how it goes. It’d certainly be nice for the Eagles to add a deep threat to the mix.Alexander hasn’t played since Week 15. It seems like he might have a chance to return, which would be a positive for special teams.Nick Foles isn’t on the injury report at all after dealing with sore ribs last week.
