Easy way to convert AOL mail to PST file | Forum

AOL mail uses the PFC file format that is not well supported by the Outlook and other hosts which use PST files on the server to access the mail. So now you will need to change the AOL to PST file to get the easy access. To do so, you need to change the IMAP and POP settings as mentioned below:

 Provide these IMAP settings:

1. Account Type: IMAP
2. Incoming Mail Server: imap.aol.com
3. Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.aol.com

Next, you have to provide these values in the login the box:

1.       User Name: Email address of AOL account

2.       Password: AOL email password

Now you have to change SMTP settings as given below:

1. Incoming Server: IMAP – Port: 993
2. Incoming Server Encrypted Connection: SSL
3. Outgoing Server: SMTP – Port: 587
4. Outgoing Server Encrypted Connection – TLS/Auto
