The countdown has come to an end. Jordan Retro Ireland . Ive been training hard and everythings coming together at just the right time.Although theres always a bit of a niggle or something going on, Im feeling fit and ready. This year and probably last year as well, I was dealing with a bit of a back and wrist injury, both injuries have been the main issue for me the last few years. So Ive had to manage them well. But otherwise Ive just been training hard and focusing on managing my injuries.Mentally Im feeling pretty good. The past few years Ive been focused on all the details that go into training and competing, and getting good and consistent results. So this year Ive been focusing on areas like psychology and diet and different things outside of training, to make sure that when I perform at Rio all the physical work Ive done are complemented by all the extra things that Ive done outside the pool.Getting physically prepared pretty much comes down to doing lots of repetitions at training so Im as comfortable with the dive as possible, and I know regardless if I have a good or a bad take off Im able to save those dives.Ive got to make quick decisions in the air, which is why we train so many repetitions, and then the other side is also preparing mentally. Ive got a process that Ive been working on throughout the year leading up to this event, and its been a learning curve building up to this event with my psychologist.Ive had some good results this year; I won a bronze at the world cup event in Rio earlier this year and its good to have some good international results behind me. I can use what Ive learned from those events, and the experience Ive gained over the years - as well as the chances to compete against a lot of the competitors Ill be competing against in Rio; its been a really good learning experience.I had to back up a lot of competitions, one after the other; Ive been pretty proud of myself at being able to do that and to show consistently that Im in good form, and its also really good to have that confidence against these competitors. But even with the experience Ive got I usually get pretty nervous before I compete. Its usually the same regardless what level the competition is. It could be just a tiny competition at home or it could be the Olympics, I get just as nervous at every comp. But because Im used to that, Im used to dealing with the nerves and its something Ive been working really hard on this year; trying to deal with nerves and being well prepared mentally to try to get on top of the nerves in competitions.Leading into the Olympics, you always know the competition will be really tough; and its not just the Chinese. There are a lot of competitors whove worked really hard and you cant discount anyone else because anything can happen on the day. So I just try to focus on myself and my own performance.Im super excited ahead of the competition, and a little nervous. I just cant wait to get the green and gold on.It would be great to come away with a medal at the Olympics, but what Ive been working on in the last year is going in and showing my diving ability after all the hard work Ive been doing. If Im able to go in and dive well and be happy with my performance, Ill be happy with my results. Air Jordan Ireland Cheap .
