DAVOS Tyler Johnson Jersey , Switzerland, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- France and Germany on Wednesday unanimously defended their collective stance on making a stronger Europe, amid fears that more idea divisions would emerge between the two sides of the Atlantic as U.S. President Donald Trump is set to make his Davos debut.

"France is back. France is back at the core of Europe, because we will never have any French success without a European success Anton Stralman Jersey ," said French President Emannual Macron in a keynote speech during this years' World Economic Forum.

"All of these initiatives and reform have a natural counterpart which is European strategy," he said, calling for more "ambition" in the European Union (EU).

"Those who don't want to move forwards should not block the most ambitious in the room," he added.

The "EU should find its role in a globalized world and put social cohesion above an often-observed obsession with growth Nikita Kucherov Lightning Jersey ," he noted, urging a 10-year strategy of EU listing common objectives in the fields of environment, energy, social cohesion and defense.

France and Germany have traditionally been regarded as the driving force behind the European integration Ryan McDonagh Lightning Jersey , but the Brexit spillovers and the rising far-rights on the continent have cast shadows on their efforts to some extent.

Echoing Macron in her speech Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel also talked about her vision for Europe's future, saying that the EU "needs to take more responsibility, we need to take our destiny into our own hands."

"Multilateralism is under threat and have we actually learned the lessons of history? We haven't really Steven Stamkos Lightning Jersey ," she said, urging closer cooperation in the EU to solve problems in Europe.

Specifically, Merkel called for more actions on digitalization rather than "debating philosophical issues", saying that it was too slow in EU to decide how to deal with big data Nikita Kucherov Salute to Service Jersey , which has made Europe lag behind.

"We now have to re-oriented economic policies, creating a digital single market," she pointed out, reminding that Europe is under great pressure due to the presence of large American companies.

Meanwhile Ryan McDonagh Salute to Service Jersey , Merkel also called for efforts to tackle fractured capital market by establishing capital markets union, as well as completing banking union, so as to weather the crisis at an early stage.

Following a series of unexpected events on the global stage including Brexit and the election of Trump as U.S. President, the world's attention is focused on France and Germany Steven Stamkos Salute to Service Jersey , wondering how they will respond to the rise of populism, protection and sentiment against globalization in Europe.

Despite declarations of good intentions between Paris and Berlin, some media warned that Macron and Merkel might have envisioned different structures in the EU, which might put the two countries at odds.

Der Spiegel Cheap Nikita Kucherov Jersey , a German weekly news magazine, said earlier that Macron has long wanted a union that gives Brussels greater powers, instead of seeing Berlin "steer the wheel."

The new star of European politics had earlier suggested the establishment of a European finance ministerial post and a budget for the eurozone, something widely seen as an attempt to transfer more legitimacy from national governments to the EU and could raise eyebrows in Berlin.

HANOI, July 11 (Xinhua) -- As many as 53 violations have been detected in trial operation process of Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS) which caused mass fish deaths in central coastal Vietnam, said a Vietnamese official here on Monday.

Tran Hong Ha, Vietnamese minister of Natural Resources and Environment, made the remark at the 50th session of Vietnam's 13th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee held in capital Hanoi on Monday.

According to Ha, during test run, FHS has made 53 administrative violations relating design, operation, construction and treatment system which do not follow legal regulations and standards of local authorities, reported Vietnam's state-run radio VOV.

"Among the 53 violating acts, FHS has deliberately changed processing technology method from Coke Dry Quenching to wet quenching of the coke, which includes a lot of waste," said Ha.

In April 2016, a serious environmental incident occurred in waters off Vietnam's four central provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue, which led to unusual deaths of marine lives, thus incurring huge socio-economic loss and creating negative impact on people's life and social security and order.

FHS has admitted that they are responsible for the incident and put forward five commitments, including paying economic compensation worth around 500 million U.S. dollars, supporting occupational changes for local people as well as dealing and restoring marine environment in the four provinces.

WELLINGTON, July 14 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand's manufacturing sector continued its long run of growth last month despite concerns over the high value of the New Zealand dollar, according to the latest performance of manufacturing index (PMI) out Thursday.

The BNZ-Business New Zealand PMI for June was 57.7 on a scale where above 50 indicates expansion and below 50 contraction.

The reading was 0.5 points higher than May and continued a run of growth in almost all months since October 2012.

"While we are obviously encouraged by June's (post-Brexit) PMI we are also conscious of the soaring currency. Good economic news comes with a price in FX markets," BNZ senior economist Craig Ebert said in a statement.

Business New Zealand executive director for manufacturing Catherine Beard said the fundamental components of the survey continued to hold up well.

"Both production (60.8) and new orders (61.6) remained above the 60-point range, while employment (53.5) experienced its fourth consecutive rise in activity levels," Beard said . Cheap Hoodies   Cheap Basketball Shirts   Cheap Hockey Jerseys   Cheap NCAA Shirts China   Cheap MLB Hoodies China   Cheap College Shirts China   Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale   Cheap NHL Jerseys Wholesale   Wholesale Jerseys China   Wholesale Jerseys China
