From the Author Though the majority of my work is books for teens, I wanted to create something special for our grandson, Ollie. Since I love to doodle, I drew a carton book for him about adventures we could choose to enjoy together: baking, singing, building, drawing, napping, and much more.Friends and family encouraged me to share Ollie's book so other adults can read the story and choose fun ideas together as well. Whatever money is made from this book goes into Ollie's education fund. After all, it is his book!You'll notice that there is lots of white space on each page. That is on purpose. I encourage you to write in the dates and memories for each activity you choose together; this way you have a memory book to share for years to come.This is a simple book. As a language arts teacher, school administrator, youth worker, camp counselor, creative writing camp leader, AIG teacher, and summer arts camp leader, she has shared laughter, tears, some pretty amazing practical jokes, and powerful moments of grace. Though she spends an inordinate amount of time thinking up painfully bad puns, and sharing them generously, her heart is in reaching teens where they are.
