PARIS -- Canadians Eugenie Bouchard and Daniel Nestor lost their matches Friday at the French Open. Cheap Air Jordan 5 . The No. 77-ranked Bouchard, from Montreal, was dispatched by defending champion Maria Sharapova 6-2, 6-4 in a second-round match that was forced to be completed Friday due to rain. Torontos Nestor and new partner Robert Lindstedt of Sweden lost their second-round match to French duo Jonathan Dasnieres de Veigy and Florent Serra 7-6(3), 6-3. It was Nestors worst result at Roland Garros since he was ousted in the second round in 2006. Bouchard, meanwhile, trailed by a set and 4-2 when the match was halted Thursday night by rain. The 19-year-old put up a stubborn defence Friday before falling on a first match point as her forehand sailed over the baseline. "It was a good experience, to play one of the best in the world," Bouchard said. "I saw her game, her shots. "She kept me on my heels a lot. I tried to counter that and was able to play my best game at some stages." Bouchard, who made her first WTA semifinal last weekend in Strasbourg, converted on only one-of-six break chances and committed 22 unforced errors. Sharapova also won their only previous meeting in March in Miami. "I did better than Miami, it was more competitive this time," Bouchard said. "I wasnt quite as blown off the court as in Miami. "It was an improvement. I was excited and motivated and was really looking forward to the match." The third-seeded Nestor and Lindstedt lost in 75 minutes to snap Nestors 19-match win streak in Paris. Nestor had claimed the French Open title the previous three years -- with Nenad Zimonjic in 2010 and Max Mirnyi in 2011 and 2012 -- and owns four trophies overall. He has also played in three other finals (1998, 2002 and 08). "Nothing went right for us." said Nestor. "The best comparison is to boxing match, where you get pounded early. "They came out swinging and we were on our heels the whole time." The loss was the first in Paris for the 40-year-old Canadian since he and Zimonjic were beaten in the 2009 semifinals by Lukas Dlouhy and Leander Paes. "They didnt do anything to surprise us, we werent making shots," Nestor said. "In the first game they hit four winners to break and that set the tone. "They were hitting big shots and we were just hanging on. When we needed to make shots, we didnt." Nestor admitted it was tough to lose in Paris, saying "It was a good run." Nestor and Lindstedt broke twice but lost serve three times in the tight match. Jordan Retro 5 For Sale Cheap . Cote was eligible to become a free agent Feb. 15. Wholesale Air Jordan 5 . -- The Bishops Gaiters are showing they belong among the countrys top varsity football teams. http://www.cheapairjordan5.com/ .com) - The women will also have a new champion at the Australian Open.Throughout the Tour de France, Australian professional cyclist Richie Porte will be checking in. Here is his latest entry, as told to ESPN contributor Rupert Guinness:Stage 11: Carcassonne to Montpellier.A big thumbs up to Tour de France organisers for shortening the climb up Mont Ventoux for Thursdays 12th stage finish because of the forecast gale winds causing safety concerns. It would probably suit me better where Im placed overall [14th at 2:22] to race the full sixteen kilometres to the top rather than six less to Chalet Reynard where we will now race to.But you only had to see the images of cyclists trying to ride on Mont Ventoux Thursday to understand what the hazards would be were we to race in such conditions. People couldnt even stand up there, let alone ride up there. So it wouldnt make sense to race up there.Wednesdays 11th stage from Carcassonne to Montpellier gave us enough of a test with the wind. It was absolutely crazy, and the impact was clear with the sight of echelons, and finally with how the stage unfolded with Peter Sagan attacking 10km from the finish with Tinkoff teammate Maciej Bodnar, Tour leader Chris Froome and his Sky teammate Geraint Thomas. What can I say? It was one of those days where you never got any chance to get a break. When we came out of kilometre zero you could see Sky out in front almost sprinting. But even at the front there were guys crashing. It was full concentration the whole time. I did not ease up once. I hardly looked down at my power meter of anything like that. There were just so many crashes and splits in the peloton. Then the neutral service car ran out of water, after we couldnt get water from the team cars. It was just a mess of a stage. When Sagan went, itt wasnt so much that people missed the move. Retro 5 Air Jordans For Sale. It was positioning. I tried to close the gap after Sagan went, but I couldnt get across. I was actually on the wheel of Fabian Cancellara (Trek-Segafredo) at one point as well, and he couldnt close it. They were absolutely motoring out there in that move, and chapeau for Sagan winning. You never know, they might pay for that effort in the stage to Mont Ventoux as well. It was a hard effort out there, but then I guess it was also a hard effort for us back in the peloton. What can we expect then with the climb up Mont Ventoux ending after 10 kilometres? With winds expected to be higher than on Wednesday, and blowing before the stage reaches Mont Ventoux it should still be a full-on crazy stage. There could be early carnage if the wind blows as expected. Thankfully, BMC is one of the best teams to handle the wind. But all the teams know what they will be faced with. Some will always try to make it harder than it has to be. The sprinters teams should take a bit more of a back seat which would lead to a more of a controlled affair for the general classification riders and their teams. As for the climb up Mont Ventoux? With it being shortened, the race will explode big time at the bottom. At the finish I dont expect there will be as many big a gaps on the general classification as there would be were the stage to finish at the summit. But then with the added explosiveness of the race on a shorter it is still going to be real hard to the finish line.My tip? There will still be plenty to talk about long after the sun sets over Provence. cheap falcons jerseys cheap ravens jerseys cheap bills jerseys cheap bears jerseys cheap bengals jerseys cheap cowboys jerseys cheap lions jerseys cheap texans jerseys cheap colts jerseys cheap jaguars jerseys cheap chiefs jerseys cheap rams jerseys cheap dolphins jerseys cheap vikings jerseys cheap saints jerseys cheap giants jerseys cheap jets jerseys cheap eagles jerseys cheap steelers jerseys cheap 49ers jerseys ' ' '
