Montreal showed more life in the second half and it resulted in a good chance in the 70th minute when Felipe Martins drew Gruenebaum out for a challenge as he dribbled toward the end line but his attempt rolled harmlessly wide. The Crew responded immediately with Higuain setting up Oduro for a volley that Perkins saved at the right post.
