What
is the role of injection mould?
What are the components? What is the role of each? The structural composition of
the injection moulding
mould can
be divided into the following parts: moulding
part, mould clamping
guide part, product ejection part, core extraction part, heating and cooling
part of the mould body,
supporting part of the mould body
and pouring melt channel, row Stomata etc.
(1)
moulding
part. That is, after the mould is
assembled and closed, the cavity part of the plastic product is directly formed
as a component part, such as a punch, a concave mould,
a core, a rod, or an insert.
(2)
Clamping guide part. It is a part that is set up so that the center axis can be
correctly aligned when the moving and fixed moulds
are closed. There are guide columns, guide hole sleeves or tapered
cones.
(3)
Product launch part. It is the parts used to push the moulded
injection products out of the mould cavity,
such as ejector rods, fixed plates, push plates and pads.
(4)
The core extraction part. When injection moulding
plastic products with pits or side holes are demoulded,
the core mechanism parts used for forming pits and side holes are first
extracted, such as frequently used oblique guide posts,
Core
pulling mechanism such as slider and bending pin.
(5)
The heating and cooling part of the mould body.
Refers to the control system that adapts to the temperature of the injection
moulding
process of plastic products, such as resistance heating plates, rods and their
electronic control components; the cooling part uses circulating cooling water
pipes.
(6)
The supporting part of the mould body.
Refers to the auxiliary parts to ensure that the mould body
can work correctly, such as moving and fixed mould backing
plates, positioning rings, lifting rings and various fastening
screws.
(7)
Pouring molten material channel. Refers to the flow channel that can lead the
molten material injected through the nozzle to the cavity of the forming
mould.
It can usually be divided into a main channel, a split channel, a bushing
(gate), and a cold material tank.
(8)
Exhaust holes. Refers to the part that can discharge the air in the mould cavity.
Generally, small products do not need special vents, and the air in the cavity
can be discharged from the gap of each fitting; for large injection products,
the vents must be provided.
