I kind of envy people who travel in their own cars. I have a car too, but it is better suited for city driving. It works fine for commuting to work, grocery shopping, and similar errands, but I am not sure it could handle a long trip. I would like to drive to Boston for the weekend, explore the city, and see some interesting places along the way. Where can I rent a more reliable car for that in NYC? And what would you recommend to stop and visit on the way?

A city car is great for errands, but for a road trip you’ll want something more comfortable and reliable for highway driving. The good thing is that NYC has plenty of rental options. It might be helpful to check where you can get a car specifically for a road trip from NYC to Boston here: https://buffalonews.com/...80-0b0a1b50db05.html . Along the way, you could consider stopping in Providence, Rhode Island, since it is about halfway and has a lively downtown and a good food scene, which makes the journey more enjoyable.
