Installing metal screening on steel or wrought-iron gates adds an element of security and privacy without detracting from a gate's design. Metal screens are available in a variety of styles, ranging from basic extruded metal to decorative stamped metal. The screens can be custom made to fit, or purchased in sheets you cut to size with sheet-metal cutters. After the screens are delivered or cut, installation is relatively easy. A home-improvement enthusiast may find the job easier with the help of an assistant. To get more news about metal screen panels, you can visit boegger.net official website.

1
Open the metal gate or double metal gates halfway. For double gates, attach the screen panels at one gate at a time.

2
Position the screen panel against the inside face of the gate for the best appearance when approaching the gate. Align the bottom edge with the lower horizontal rail of the gate from end to end. Align the sides of the panel vertically and evenly spaced from the outer edges of the gate at each side.

3
Start at the top of the panel at one corner. Insert the pointed end of a 1/4-inch-by-10-inch plastic-coated aluminum cable tie into an opening in the screen near that corner of the panel. Loop the end of the tie around the upper rail of the gate or a baluster and insert the end through the adjacent opening in the panel. Fit the tie together at the inside of the gate and pull the end tight with a pair of pliers.

4
Attach the opposite, upper corner of the screen panel at the opposite upper corner of the gate in the same way. Install additional cable ties in the panel at eight-inch intervals from end to end across the upper rail of the gate.

5
Attach the sides of the screen to the gate with cable ties at eight-inch intervals from top to bottom along each side. Attach the bottom of the screen to the bottom horizontal rail of the gate in the same way.

6
Push on the screen from the outside of the gate in several places to determine if more attachments are needed for a uniform and tight installation. Install additional cable ties as necessary to secure the screen tightly at the gate.
