It appeared at that time as if when the Raiders did anything with helmets, it wouldn’t include Antonio Brown. That he would continue to try to appease his coaches and GM by being present, but dig in his heels on the helmet issue. Following practice, Brown was seen leaving the field with a helmet in his hand. Jon Gruden then stepped to the podium and said Brown wore a helmet for practice after the stretching period and practiced with the team. Said Antonio Brown is “All in and ready to go.”The “He’s all in” portion of that statement is important. It comes on the heels of Raiders GM Mike Mayock giving Brown an ultimatum to Brown by saying “It’s time for him to be all in or all out.” That was prompted by Brown missing the team’s final training camp practice in Alameda while he was still fighting the league with regard to wanting to wear his old helmet.
