The Broncos enter the 2019 season with a new coach in Vic Fangio and a new starting quarterback in Joe Flacco. Will these changes help Denver reach the playoffs for the first time since 2015?hutcoin

We took a look at how Denver would fare — and a look at the playoffs — in our Madden NFL 20 simulation:

Week 1: Broncos 33, Raiders 27, OT
There’s no better way to endear yourself to Broncos fans than with a win over the Raiders. The Fangio era started off with a bang with Denver winning in Oakland in overtime. Flacco had a strong debut, completing 21 of 31 passes for 341 yards. This included a pair of touchdown passes to Emmanuel Sanders. Von Miller was dominant on defense, collecting three sacks.
Week 2: Broncos 38, Bears 31
Another week, another late win. Against his former team, Fangio’s Broncos won late in the fourth quarter. Flacco had an outrageous 453 yards in the air and four TD passes. DaeSean Hamilton had a breakout game with 12 catches for 218 yards and two scores. Bradley Chubb earned AFC defensive player of the week honors after sacking Mitch Trubisky three times.

Week 3: Packers 45, Broncos 35
The vaunted Denver defense struggled mightily against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense. Flacco connected with Sanders for two scores, but the offensive line wasn’t great for him — he was sacked five times.

Week 4: Jaguars 31, Broncos 14
Denver reached the end zone first before allowing 31 unanswered points by Jacksonville. Hamilton had another strong game, catching seven passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Week 5: Broncos 42, Chargers 35
Phillip Lindsay had his first breakout game of the season, rushing for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Flacco had three touchdown passes and Chris Harris Jr. had a crucial interception as the Broncos rose above .500 again.

Week 6: Titans 28, Broncos 21
For the second straight game, Lindsay had a two-touchdown game, but it wasn’t enough. Denver had no answers for Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota, who was 23 of 26 for 287 yards and three touchdowns in the Titans’ win in Denver.

Week 7: Chiefs 31, Broncos 3
Denver had no answer for Patrick Mahomes, who torched the Broncos with four touchdown passes at Empower Field at Mile High. Flacco simply looked average, throwing for 196 yards and an interception in the loss.want know more fut coins news Read More
