In an exclusive interview to Tennis World USA, the Rolex Shanghai Masters Tournament Director Michael Luevano commented on this year's event that will take place from 5 to 13 October 2019. Luevano confirmed that Roger Federer will once again be the tournament ambassador as, like he did in 2017 and 2018, he will soon have a video shoot to promote the Chinese event. To get more shanghai masters, you can visit shine news official website.

Luevano said: "We feel as if all the players are ambassadors for the Rolex Shanghai Masters. We go out of our way to make all our guests feel welcome. Roger, like Novak and Andy, is a multiple winner of the Rolex Shanghai Masters and he has been coming to Shanghai longer than any other active player and the city has a special place in his heart and the fans feel the same way about Roger.

We are very pleased that Roger agreed to recently film another video promotion for the tournament." Asia was reportedly among the candidates to host the 2020 Laver Cup, but it seems that Boston, United States, will host it.
Is Shanghai interested in it in the long term future? "We and our partners will always look at interesting proposals as is the case with so many sporting events we work on such as F1, equestrian and Australian Rules Football in addition to our tournaments like the RSM and the Challenger just before.

The Laver Cup is a super concept but we haven’t had discussions and the Laver Cup is also very close in dates to the Rolex Shanghai Masters." Last year Novak Djokovic said that Shanghai courts were as faster as ever.

Is there any particular reason behind it? "We are always consulting with the players. Shanghai has had quick courts in previous years. Nothing different has been done to the courts. Often one player sees a court as very fast and another player might not see it as quick or as slow as the next player. It is a bit subjective." According to ESPN, Roger Federer will reportedly play an exhibition in South America in late November this year. Fenix, a management company that had already brought Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in the area back in 2013 for Nicolas Massu's farewell tour, confirmed the news.

Federer will play in the Movistar Arena in Chile on November 20 against one between Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev or Kei Nishikori. Thiem and Zverev are unlikely to play the Davis Cup Finals that take place in the Madrid over the same week.

"Some details lack in order to make it official, but that's our wish," said a Fenix spokesman to La Tercera. Federer also plans to visit Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. He had competed with Juan Martin del Potro and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 2012 always in South America, getting around $13 million.

Rumours about Federer's possible appearance in the Continent started earlier this year in March when he shared his desire to play exhibitions there. Gustavo Kuerten had sent him a video message saying he was available to play mixed doubles with the 20-time Grand Slam winner.
