The three-time Grey Cup champion has never won the award. Calgary Stampeders running back Jon Cornish is up for his third straight Most Outstanding Canadian award, representing the West Division. Cornish led the CFL in yards and 100-yard games this season despite missing nine games due to injury. Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive tackle Ted Laurent represents the East for the Canadian award. Laurent recorded nine sacks this season.
