If you find that you Brother Printer cannot detect the ink cartridge you can follow the steps given below to the cartridge and try and solve the problem:

Step 1: Turn the printer off, wait for a few minutes, then turn it
back on

Step 2: Lift the printer lever on the left and open the cover
·
Step 3: Press the “Cancel” and “Print” buttons simultaneously
·
Step 4: Tap the “+” button and scroll down to the ink cartridge
you want to reset, then press ‘Ok.’

your Brother Printer does not detect the cartridge even after you reset it, you
can call the Customer Service Brother Printer and speak to a printer expert to troubleshoot the problem.
