During the season, however, Boone appeared to be the choice over Thomas with Dalvin Cook on the sideline, and that became more apparent today with Thomas’ release.On the season, Thomas had eight carries for 30 yards, and caught two passes for 21 yards. He suffered a hamstring injury in the Week 8 loss to the New Orleans Saints and was inactive for the Week 9 victory over the Detroit Lions.
