It appears the fears of a long-term injury to Detroit Lions punt returner Jamal Agnew were not hasty. On Tuesday Youth Sylvester Williams Jersey , special teams coordinator Joe Marciano told reporters that the team was in the beginning stages of preparing a long-term replacement for Agnew as the team’s punt returner: Agnew was injured in the final quarter of Sunday’s game against the Packers when his knee bent awkwardly while tumbling towards the end zone. He was carted off after getting some help off the field. Former NFL doctor David J. Chao believes the video of the injury suggests he may have suffered a torn ACL, but the video, he admits, is inconclusive. It’s interesting that Marciano suggests Agnew’s replacement will be an internal choice. The Lions could turn to Golden Tate on punt returns, as the veteran receiver has averaged 10.7 yards per return on 90 career punt returns. The Lions could also use Brandon Powell or Ameer Abdullah on returns. Abdullah was active for the first time this past Sunday and quickly assumed kick returning duties from Agnew. He has yet to log a punt return in his NFL career, however. You’d have to go back to his sophomore year at Nebraska to find his last punt return—way back in 2012. But the Lions won’t need to just replace Agnew on special teams. The All Pro punt returner was just starting to emerge as an option for the Lions’ nickel cornerback spot. Agnew played in at least 10 defensive snaps in all five games this year http://www.lionscheapstore.com/tavon-wilson-jersey-cheap , including 44 against the Patriots. With injuries mounting up in the secondary—Teez Tabor left Sunday’s game, while Quandre Diggs played with a cast, and Tavon Wilson missed the game entirely—don’t be surprised to see the Lions make an addition to the back end of the roster.Lions notes: ‘Talkin with T.J.’ is BACK! The Detroit Lions 2018 season hasn’t produced much to get excited about. It’s obviously still early, but it feels like the season is spiraling out of control and we haven’t even gotten out of September yet. Happiness for Lions fans is few and far between, so we must cling to the good things in life as to not be overwhelmed by the bad. Thankfully, veteran offensive lineman T.J. Lang is able to provide a little light amidst the dark with the return of his webseries “Talkin’ With T.J.”If you missed it last year Cheap Marvin Jones Jr Jersey , Lang interviews teammates, grills them with trivia questions, and typically makes fun of them a little, too. Last season was responsible for running gags like Matthew Stafford being too cheap to buy chairs for his show, and Lang snubbing Haloti Ngata every week as a guest. This season, the show kicks off with Lang’s fellow linemate http://www.lionscheapstore.com/sam-martin-jersey-cheap , rookie Frank Ragnow. It’s a little more subdued than previous episodes, but Lang still brings it with some dry humor. Check it out here. Stafford made a lot of bad throws last week, but this good throw wasn’t appreciated enough. Thankfully, Dan Orlovsky broke it down: Lions head coach Matt Patricia broke down Patriots film to show what makes Rob Gronkowski, James White and Trey Flowers so dangerous on Sundays. No surprise, but LeGarrette Blount was fined for his sideline shove that got him ejected from the 49ers game last week: DetroitLions.com has a very cool new documentary series that follows Lions players off the field Youth Graham Glasgow Jersey , focusing on their hobbies and family. The series kicks off with the highly entertaining Marvin Jones Jr. Uh oh: Former Lions tight end Joseph Fauria had a lot of things to say about his former team this week. Some good, some not so good.
