Buying a child ticket online instead of adult ticket. Can I get away with this? | Forum

Hello,

So anyway, I was looking at movietickets.com and one of my local theatres is selling adult tickets for $9 while the child tickets are $6. So I'm thinking, why not just buy the child ticket instead of the adult one. Who's going to stop me? I'm pretty sure actually buying the ticket is not a problem, but if I went into the theatre and used the ticket, would someone not let me into the theatre? Do they check if you're a child if you have a child's ticket? I can't imagine they'd have the time or patience to check everyones ticket to see if it's alright. Has anyone else done this and gotten away with it? Not gotten away with it?

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
