An
error message while using the Avast anti-virus gets displayed on the screen
which reads out to be ‘UI failed to load’. This basically an error that
prevents the program from running. It can also be seen as a startup error. When
the users have installed the Avast Anti-virus application in their system, and
they have been asked to restart the device to incorporate the changes, they
sometimes come across the error message as discussed above. This situation can
arise with anyone. The main reason behind these
errors is the incorrect Windows service configuration. Sometimes, the
application can ask you to click the ‘Restart services’ on the display error
message. If even after doing that, the snag has not been fixed, then you can
either follow the problem-solving steps that have been mentioned below or get
in touch with Avast
Customer Service.
Method to resolve Avast startup error
Open the run dialog box off the desk/laptop either by pressing Windows
and R key at the same time or by typing run in the Windows Start Menu
In the dialog type services.msc and click on Okay or press enter.
Once the service console opens, search for
‘Remote Desktop Services’
Open ‘Remote Desktop services and start to set
the startup. For that, you have to type
‘Automatic’ in the box. Ensure that the service is running.
After that, restart the system and try
starting the application. If it opens without any error, then the issue has been
resolved, otherwise, you need to execute
these given steps
You need to open the start menu of the system.
Click on Control panel to open the Settings.
From there navigate Programs and then to Programs and Features.
From the list of installed programs, select
Avast anti-virus application.
Click on the Uninstall or Change button and
select ‘Repair’
The software will repair any error and will make
the necessary changes.
Then again restart the system and see whether
the snag has been rectified
If this also doesn’t work, then you can
uninstall the application and download it again.
Also, check for any updates in the Windows
Operating System and make sure that the application you download is compatible
with the OS.
There
can occur a probability of this error occurring again. And if it does, even
after you have tried and tested all the steps that have been discussed above,
then you definitely need to contact the Avast Customer
Care Number.
