Description

If you've spent any time at all in the past couple of expansions for WoW, then you'll have encounter plenty of gamers decrying how far the sport has dropped since gold in wow classic glory days, and the way you just wouldn't be able to realize that sentiment if you'd never played old-school WoW. This started as a very vocal minority, but has been bubbling ever-louder under the surface over the past several decades, especially since Blizzard updated much of their content that was formulaic back in 2010 using the release of Cataclysm.

However, with the launch of WoW Classic, these players are finally getting the chance to return and reevaluate what they believe made the game so great all those years ago. It has been a year since Blizzard declared WoW Classic in BlizzCon 2017, and today in this year's seminar, both those attending the series and people that have a virtual pass, had an opportunity to test out a restricted traditional demo.

You'll see the word'nostalgia' banded around fairly frivolously when it comes to some dialog about WoW Classic, but there really is no better way of describing the wave of emotion that flows over you while you log in the demo in the event that you played WoW in those Vanilla, or perhaps pre-Cataclysm decades. The original title sequence boots up, with the intro music and we are presented with the character creation menu.

Gone are the glossy models we have grown used to, and the jutting muscles along with plasticine hairlines of yesteryear are back. Running around the world together with the defined personality designs seen in the current expansion of WoW, Battle for Azeroth, will surely take away from the Blizzard are currently trying to make here.
