Do You Like To Make Enemies So Slow POE Currency That You Can Run Beside Them And Whisper Mean Things To Them As They Run Towards Your Old Position At An Embarrassing Slow Speed? Then This Is The Build For You! If You Don't Like To Make, Enemies Feel Poorly Before You Kill Them Then You Should Try This Build So You Learn To Like To Make Enemies Feel Poorly Before You Kill them.
This Guide Is Written With A Focus On Those New To Path Of Exile. For Those That Aren'T New, Thanks For Your Patience With All The Extra Bits. I'Ve Tried To Make This Layout Easy To Skip To The Important Bits If You Don't Need The Filler.
This build is easy to try out. We run to the middle of a list of enemies and cast one skill (SRS) until things are all dead (or we have to go ;-)). Everything else will likely be automatically thrown with the gem setup. We'll produce an aura to further improve our cold damage and another skill that increases our defense. The build incorporates a high life as I could squeeze out on the tree so that as much life regen as was possible. The items I'll encourage you to obtain are top in armor and then we'll have just as much physical damage reduction as possible with all the number of uniques we'll workout on. In other words, we're aiming to possess our character as "tanky" as you possibly can while our minions are common damage with out defense. Check the Gem and Gear sections for more
Pros:
+ cheap (5 Poe Chaos Orb)
+ Perfect for new players. Easy to level, simple to buy, very easy to afford, very easy to survive, an easy task to kill, easy end game.
+ You only cast one skill. Everything else (excluding flasks) is automatic.
+ It clears maps quickly.
+ Chills and slows every enemy and boss. Great for survivability.
+ Has excellent DPS (17k per SRS) resistant to the Shaper that has a five-link and 23k which has a six-link.
+ Can take and offer good damage.
+ Reflect Damage doesn't affect you in any respect.
+ You can run any map mod in endgame except one. (You need mana regen.)
Cons:
- The only Con is the fact that it's a minion build (meaning you won't choose individual preference attack).
