Epic Games’ plans for that upcoming year of Fortnite competitive play will all culminate within the 2019 Fortnite World Cup, this company announced today during its Fortnite Pro-Am tournament at E3 2018.
Epic said hello will use its $100 million esports investment to
Fortnite Items help you sponsor tournaments during the entire 2018-19 season of play. The events includes online tournaments, community-run competitions and official competitive events.
In addition, Epic will hold specific qualification events for your 2019 Fortnite World Cup, which could have separate competitions for both solo and duo players. These events lets players of the varieties and skill sets to compete for any chance with an invitation for the World Cup event. Epic was careful to realize that no spots within these events can be sold to
Fortnite Materials third parties or established esports franchises, hoping giving every player a good chance.
While Epic didn’t go into any specifics over the announcement, this company did say who's will publish the schedule for your official World Cup qualifier events sometime this fall.
