Description

A new update for Fortnite Skins is around the way soon, plus it features new content to the explosively popular, free-to-play Battle Royale mode on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Epic Games has provided the full rundown on what can be expected from update 2.4.2, as well like a look at what's coming in 2010. [Update: The new Fortnite update is going now.]
For Battle Royale players, new Valentine's Day-themed skins are now being added, since you can see from the image below. More significantly, the update marks the addition of the revolutionary "silent" weapon that has been teased through the New Updates screen recently. That's turned into the Crossbow, which fires arrows, a brand new ammo type that is certainly unlimited in supply. It can be obtained in treasure chests or as loot around the ground; Rare and Epic versions are made available.
This patch also features some bug fixes for Battle Royale, like preventing players from sliding away from rooftops and dealing which has a collision issue in connection with Fortnite Weapons corners in basements. It also updates the recently launched Shooting Test #1 Limited-Time mode. Rather than like a squad activity, it'll now basically playable solo. Headshots with shotguns will do 200% damage (as opposed to 150%), and also the Scoped Assault Rifle gets some buffs. Additionally, Epic notes that it is aware that stat and challenge progress just isn't saved when playing the mode, that serves to not want to think about it inside the meantime if that is a concern to suit your needs.
