I used it for a couple of months attending college. Seemed pretty active, even so the grind was real, so I quit playing.
Now I'm playing Cyber Sleuth, but I sometimes wish it turned out
Digimon Masters Online Gold MMO.
What may be the consensus on DMO?
If you never mind grinding a lot/paying/being patient (not expecting to have all your fav digimons the primary month), it is a pretty solid game.
It involved about six months (playing 1 hour every day on average, altough I usually left it open/minimized with the daily rewards) to have absolutely everything I wanted and "complete the experience" (except ab muscles last parts in the game and several raids).
Story is the greatest downside with the game
Digimon Masters Gold IMO, it isn't really terrible in any respect, it's only messy and weird, altough that has to be because I played it before watching Savers, as it's heavily depending on that specific saga. Good digimon variety, scenarios and music are cool.
You could argue quests are basic but 95% of MMORPG's rely for the same 4 types of quests so you'll be able to't specifically blame mafia wars for that.
