If you are having difficulties with RuneScape Gold this quest I suggest you kill the brothers with normal rs. Log out and log in to the beta. Once you have been through the tunnels, return and finish the quest. I was able to loot the chest and not have to kill the final brother.

The good news is that there's gonna be more events and more chances for people to wear the clothes. While it was not a huge challenge for me, I think it was a great idea.
