The new guards to OSRS Gold the Runescape safe area (Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador). This was just stupid. If you are a player who is less than 60, you have to talk to the guards and leave the 'safe area'. Fine. If players are above 60, Jagex says that the new guards shouldn't cause too much of a disturbance.
But your avatar slows when you get close to guards. The guards allow you to go by for a while before your avatar begins to accelerate once more. You are able to sprint past the guards if you're at 60 or more.
I don't care if other disagree with my views. What good is slowing down, stopping us, then making us accelerate once more? The top players will realize that they have left the new safe space. This delay is an added nuisance and has no value. Even though you are entering the new safe area, guards will also stop you (another delay).
Runescape may issue warnings as appropriate (e.g. You're in danger! You are about entering an area that is populated by monsters of high level! These can serve a useful purpose to get the player's attention (the warnings can be turned off to disable). Level 60 and higher are not allowed to utilize the Runescape safe zone guards. They also serve as a brand new obstacle that is not necessary to running.
I was fishing close to Musa Point (Karmja). A man approached us and requests food. He was trying Dragon Slayer. Someone on the dock caught and cooked 22 lobsters. While doing so, we asked his statistics. He replied that he was level 40 in attack, strength defense, ranged and Cheap RS 2007 Gold magic, low, and 15 in prayer. He had rune scimitar, an amulet with strength, an adamant platebody rune platelegs, anti-dragonfire shield and boots from the Barbarian Village Dungeon.
