The speed that your character is able to RuneScape Gold gather Runescape resources is based on (1) your level of skill. If you've got an advanced level of mining skills it will allow you to mine ore more quickly and your woodcutting skills will enable you to cut logs more quickly; and your fishing ability will boost the speed at the catch of fish when fishing. (2) The kind of hatchet or pickaxe that you choose to use can also impact the speed with the rate at which you mine ore, and get logs.
If I'm not mining (because I was working on a different ability) The initial few rocks I mine are extremely slow. Once the initial few rocks have been mined, I resume mining at my usual pace. Similar to cutting wood. While the initial logs can be difficult to find but I am able to obtain them at a regular cost.
Question #1 Have you observed this? If you don't practice an ability for a few months the character will become "rusty" in the area. But, after you've mastered the first few logs or ores and your speed is back to normal.
Question 2 is: Do you have an Runescape subprogram that, if your character hasn't mastered an ability in the past, the rate of resource gathering will be restored to the normal. This is again dependent on your level of skill and the type of tool/pickaxe and the level of your skill.
It's just not being used properly. In simple terms magic isn't designed to be employed in the same manner in the same way as Range or Melee. Range and Melee are restricted to hitting a single specific target at any given moment. Magic (using Ancients), can hit multiple targets at Cheap OSRS Gold once.
