I have similar stats, and I recently got a slayer mission

I have similar stats, and I recently got a slayer mission for fire giants. So here's how I am fighting them: Lease - A piece of food. A dragon dagger to special with OSRS gold every now and then. Glarial's amulet so that I can go in the waterfall to combat them.

So far, it's working really good and I just need to bank when I can't hold any more drops. You are seriously better off with a whip rather than Guthan's war spear. The damage per second of the spear is awful, so only re-banking when you need to is quicker. Switch to a whip if you don't have to cure then. Simple to solve.

Helm: Total Slayer Helmet - While I am not killing them for a slayer job, the Total Slayer Helm provides excellent defence for a ranged helm, and provides a bonus to ranged attack, even when I don't receive the 15% bonus because it isn't a slayer job. I currently have an offer in to get an Armadyl Stole to replace it, but it likely will not buy for just a little bit.

Body: Saradomin Body - Helps get to Armadyl's Eyrie, and allows me to kill Aviansies at the middle field of this God Wars Dungeon if the eyrie becomes too crowded (but it generally doesn't). Legs: Dragon Plateskirt - While approving a ranged attack punishment, the excellent triumphed defence counteracts that. 1 day I may substitute with Dragon Platelegs to look a bit better, but right now it just is not cheap for me. Boots: Snakeskin Boots - Nifty ranged attack bonus in addition to ranged defence bonus.

Cape: Ava Accumulator - Who would not utilize this while that Old School RuneScape Gold range? Can't wait until dragon comes out! Ammo: Broad-Tipped Bolts - Affordable and great ranged power bonus! Not a bad trade-off.
