The full 5000 series does not. You would need to get a 59**X simply to be wow classic gold over a brand new i7 10700K. Not only that but you'd pay more for the Ryzen.
You are either living before or getting your information from Intel. The 5600x even defeats the 10900k in several single core benchmarks, and the higher ending 5000 series blows intel off in multi. Regardless, a number of us use our PCs for more than just gaming and can gladly sacrifice a couple of fps for efficiency elsewhere.
Drivers and compatability hasn't been an issue with AMD CPUs for quite a while. That simply would not happen with significant troubles.
If you're talking GPUs, then sureyou may be wary of AMD. The previous generation had driver issues and the new generation is unproven on that aspect.
If you want to set up MAC OSX in your house assembled PC, Intel is the only means to go there.Intel just can do more. The ONLY reason I would ever buy into AMD is when I had been into movie editing / producing.
While We're in the buy gold classic wow topic, I would like to hear some opinions in case my laptop will operate TBC classic: It was able to run Rise of the Tomb Raider on minimum graphics, and I had no issues with classic wow.
I meanI see no reason why TBC Classic could have more rigorous requirements than what we have today.
