I can't recall what, I believe old school again. Either way old college and 3 are both lvl 1. Perhaps I could jump back in OSRS gold. Sucks though lava cape, some 99 capes, along with a pleasant bankroll The beginning quests are kind of only fetch quests, (cooks helper asks you to bring an egg, flour, and milk; witch's potion asks you to fetch a rat's tail, eye of newt, onion, and burnt meat), but those few early quests made literally 20 years ago don't reflect the overall quality of the quests which have come out since then.

These days, I would probably recommend just playing different games famous because of their atmosphere & stories, such as Fallout New Vegas. It's a skinnerbox and also a mindhack, but a few people today take pleasure in the skinnerbox.

Quests aren't actually the principal means to level up in the two variants of Runescape. They do provide you some XP for certain abilities when you complete them, but if you did all the quests in the game you wouldn't have max stats in anything. In fact you'll find that for a lot of the mid to late game quests you will have to grind some abilities yourself to fulfill the requirements to even begin it. With Runescape the major way you advance your personality is grinding mobs for battle XP and grinding the abilities for their respective skill XP.
