I mean, can not you say the exact same thing concerning present and Ironman cosmetics being unjust? Like it's unfair to OSRS gold try and get 3rd Age in an Ironman because it's soo rare nevertheless mains can only trade it. We don't know the reward arrangement will operate yet; this can be in a future blog. From what Kieren said, the focus isn't super aggressive and the rewards will be reason for everyone. If that is true, then Ironmen ought to be able to earn points for hte rewards without needing to nolife grind it as you suggested. You may be unable to pay for all the possible cosmetics, at least in the first tournament, but you still can get them.
I can't agree that we shouldn't add makeup since it might be hard for ironmen to get. At the conclusion of the day, they are just cosmetics... They won't be valuable to RuneScapemode whatsoever and there's absolutely no reason that an ironman should feel compelled to collect each and every product. If you would like to play as collectionist, completionistsuch that is for you personally and you already have accepted it is damn near impossible, therefore adding a little more near hopeless will not change that much.
The distinction I am making is between rare/nearly really impossible and hopeless. If it's rare, there's always somebody who'll go for it since they are crazy, but if it is hopeless what is the point in participating? I agree on the"we shouldn't say no just as it's hard for ironmen" but I'm talking about if it's not possible for ironmen. That kind of circumvents the point because RuneScape style was created so that it is possible to make every thing yourself. It would be odd to have items which you cannot obtain via any way (regardless of how rare) if you didn't do something for a month a while 3 years ago or anything. AFAIK there's nothing like that in OSRS currently.
I am able to get 3rd age any moment from OSRS's passing and a clue between now. But I'll never be able to get a cosmetic from this store if I do not participate in a specific tournament. I do not really enjoy that. When it's like you say and the rewards store remains consistent between championships so you can use your points to eventually purchase all the uniques (after however many months/years), I am game for it. I would be OK using a slow, grindy way to receive it. Just not one-time uniques that become unobtainable on RS07 Gold a DIY account.
