Master Conjurer was really just a Quality of Life improvement to allow you to rapidly produce all 4 of your stones at the wow classic gold onset of a celebration or after a wipe.A lot of these"useless" talents just seem"useless" based on current WoW Classic.
Part of the reason the Talent Trees were eliminated (I would imagine) boils down to how hard it had been to create gifts that could be good for a build and also keep an eye on the concept of cross specing for odd OP combos which may crop up. And because all of the end of the line talents required 30 points or so within one tree to get, it also was necessary for there to be several abilities that existed solely to soak up those factors. It was a method that I think had been half as many classes in WoW Classic at gold in wow classic start Blizzard might have gotten.

BUT the old version was actually really great, we often underestimate the troll's passive Regeneration, it is pretty well known nowdays that soul stacks exponentially, so all you had to to was to stap spirit on a warrior for the old version of Blood Craze to be an insanely superior survivability tool; looking at it now, if you were to go a troll prot warrior and decide on that old talent, you likely would not ever need to drink as long as you fight 1 mob at a time.
