Are you currently treating a business like how a parent speaks about a child? I genuinely don't understand why it's our obligation to baby companies into having empathy. Why is it that they have to"know" to do good for humankind, why not they just do it? It's just like white folks putting the duty on black people to educate them not to be racist when there's plenty of resources available on how to do it. That said, I really do want to say I apologize if any of my comment comes off as hostile or attacking to you. I appreciate that this discussion much even when I believe in the end of it we will still disagree. I'd say most sensible people fall somewhere between realism and idealism. It simply sounds like you and I disagree about the value of phrases.
