Tech is moving insanely fast, where do you actually keep up? | Forum

Fifteen years ago people were losing their minds over touchscreens and now half the workforce runs on AI tools they barely understand. The pace of all this is genuinely hard to wrap your head around sometimes. I want to actually dig deeper into how all of it is developing, not just the surface level stuff you see everywhere. Where do you go when you want real, in depth information about where technology is heading?

The pace of it is kind of disorienting when you actually stop and think about it. Like there are people running serious businesses today whose entire workflow depends on tools that did not exist three years ago. For getting past the hype, Substack has gotten pretty interesting lately, there are writers there who go seriously deep on where AI is actually heading. And honestly MIT Technology Review deserves a mention here, the level of analysis there is a different league compared to most tech coverage.

The thing about tech coverage is most of it is either dumbed down for clicks or buried in academic papers nobody wants to read. You need something that actually breaks down enterprise shifts and innovations in a way that makes sense for people who actually work with this stuff. You can check out enterprise tech news here https://alltechmagazine.com/technology/ . They cover how these technologies are actually being implemented in real companies and what's coming down the pipeline. The articles go beyond the buzzwords and get into what matters for people trying to stay ahead of the curve.
