We've got a new house and all the chaos that comes with it. There's this massive lawn out back but no proper spot to actually sit and relax. Just wandering around on grass isn't exactly the best use of the space. We need to set up a lounge area where we can unwind on those warm summer evenings Britain occasionally throws our way. What furniture would you lot recommend for something like that?

Gardens always look amazing until you realise you've got nowhere to actually enjoy them from. You end up standing there admiring the view like a proper idiot instead of sitting down with a drink. Weather-resistant stuff is non-negotiable here because even summer brings random downpours that'll ruin anything not built for it. Look for modular pieces that let you rearrange based on how many people are over. Rattan or teak holds up well and doesn't look naff after one season.

British weather guarantees your garden furniture's getting pelted with rain half the year whether you like it or not. Cheap stuff falls apart by the second summer and you're back shopping again wondering why you bothered. You could look at a lounge sofa set, for example here: https://rengard.co.uk/...ts/lounge-sofa-sets/ . They've got sectionals that work for different garden sizes and cushions that don't turn into soggy messes after the first drizzle. Proper spot to settle in with mates or just sprawl out with a book when you fancy some peace.
